Meet Dayo Olatokun
Dayo Olatokun is a Nigerian-born, American Actor, and passionate Motivational Speaker who loves to inspire and encourage all that can be acquired through living with purpose. He is the Founder and Executive Director of G.P.A., formally known as The Gifted & Purposed Alliance, a non-profit organization that partners with the Board of Education to deliver educational engagement of his P.I.P.E. Dreams curriculum to the inner-city students. Olatokun has partnered with several New York City schools to help students discover and live what they love! G.P.A.’s mission is to create a safe space for young people to discover their gifts and talents, so they can ultimately earn a living doing what they love.
From Athlete to Actor, Olatokun has truly lived the life he loved and still continues to do so as he enters into this next phase of his life as an Author of his debut book titled: P.I.P.E. Dreams: Principles To Live What You Love! Releasing February 21st 2021 in celebration of Black economic mobility.

Purpose is usually found in the darkest seasons of your life where you’re faced with unexpected challenges. When the pains of those challenges develop into a passion to eradicate the problem then you’ve probably found your purpose. You may not have a say in the struggles you encounter, but you do have the capacity to contribute to its solutions. I just believe if we live through something, we are responsible for leaving our impact on it. Purpose will make you give your struggle as many scars as it’s given you.

Olatokun is happily married to Dawn Olatokun, founder of Pure Moves, Inc., a non-profit for women and young ladies overcoming various forms of trauma. The two tied the knot on May 15th, 2015 in a private ceremony in Brooklyn, and are currently raising their three children: JaeShaun, Hope, and Destini.
